Bringing Hope to the Lost of Eurasia

My name is M, I have felt the call to Eurasia for roughly 5 years now. I have been twice, both on short term trips (3 weeks and 3 months), with this being my first "long-term" with plenty more to come. My heart is for the people groups of Eurasia to have access to the Gospel and to Jesus. Where I serve, less than 5% of the population claims Christianity with over 1 billion people living in this country alone. While this country is sensitive and closed off to Christianity, the local people are spiritually hungry and are waiting for someone to share the Gospel with them. Through businesses which focus on building relationships with locals and discipling national believers, my team gets to share hope with the hopeless and bring light into a spiritually dark and lost community.

Before I can serve in this country, I get to be part of a launch team in another sensitive (less sensitive, however) country. On this launch team, I get to dedicate time to learning the language, team-building, adjusting to life overseas serving, and developing/deepening spiritual disciplines. After this, I can begin serving on a team in the country my heart breaks for. With some of the language and resources from the launch team with me, I can serve the people of Eurasia better and more effectively. With your help, the lost in this country can have access to the Gospel and can hear of their Heavenly Father who loves them and is waiting for them.

For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?" Romans 10: 13-15
