Another Term In Barceona!

Hey hey! My name is Sonya, missionary serving in Spain with ICB (International Church of Barcelona) and I am the Worship Director here!

As i've lived here now for almost 4 years and have gotten to know this place, one of my biggest dreams is making worship accessible in the language of this city... CATALAN! So in the last year, along with my incredible team, I’ve been leading the "ICB Worship" project. Our team gets together regularly to write new songs for the Spanish speaking community and we're currently translating our existing catalogue into Catalan, giving the people of Catalunya a chance to ENCOUNTER and connect with God through worship in their own language. This is HUGE because there are virtually NO resources for worship music in Catalan. I'm on a mission to change that one song at a time because there's nothing like worshipping God in your heart language.

There's so much more to be done here but we are seeing REVIVAL in Barcelona. Something unprecedented for Europe and I believe our church will be a big part of this new awakening and fire for Jesus!
