Building Dreams, One Cup at a Time

Our family has been serving in full time ministry since 2003. In our mid twenties, we stepped out in faith, leaving the United States and our roles as youth pastors to move to Scotland. What began as a calling quickly became home. Over the past two decades, we have poured our lives into serving as missionaries in Scotland, building relationships, loving our city, and raising our two daughters on the mission field.

When we moved to Edinburgh, we planted a local church with a heart to see people encounter Jesus in real, everyday ways. As the years went on, we sensed a growing need to connect beyond the church walls and find creative, meaningful ways to serve our wider community. We wanted to create spaces where relationships could grow naturally, where conversations could happen freely, and where everyone would feel welcome.

Edinburgh has a rich and vibrant coffee culture, and it became clear that coffee could be a powerful bridge. In the autumn of 2024, we opened a community coffee house as an extension of our mission. More than just a place to grab a drink, it is a welcoming space designed to foster connection, belonging, and hope. Through simple moments shared over coffee, we are building trust, supporting families, and investing in the life of our city.

This coffee house is not a side project. It is ministry. It is mission. And it is one of the ways we are continuing the work we began over twenty years ago, serving the people of Edinburgh with love, purpose, and hospitality.
