Help us create a permanent place of welcome, friendship, and hope for migrants and refugees in Bari, Italy.
Imagine arriving in a new country with almost nothing familiar. A different language. A different culture. Few connections. No idea where to go for help.
For many migrants and refugees arriving in Bari, this is where a new chapter begins.
Over the past year, we've met people from all over the world through a table at a bus stop, a cup of coffee, a meal, a Bible, a helping hand, or a conversation. We've provided language support, school supplies, groceries, meals, Christian resources, community activities, and practical assistance.
But we've discovered something important: People don't just need resources. They need relationships.
They need a place where someone remembers their name—a place where they can ask questions, learn, make friends, receive practical help, and know they are welcome.
That's why we're building Jordan House.
Why “Jordan House”?The name comes from the Jordan River in Scripture—a place associated with transition and new beginnings. Many of the people we meet are in a season of transition, having left one life behind and trying to build another.
We want Jordan House to be a place where we walk alongside people—from isolation toward belonging, from hardship toward hope, and ultimately toward the hope we have found in Jesus.
What will happen at Jordan House? This isn't simply another church building or social-services office. It's a place of relationship. A place where people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds can walk through the door and know: “I am welcome here.”
Help us build the foundation. Our goal is $130,000 to establish the Jordan House Community Center and provide a sustainable foundation for its first four years of operation.
These funds will help us secure and prepare the facility, complete necessary improvements, furnish and equip the center, provide educational and ministry resources, cover essential operating costs, and build the programs and partnerships needed for long-term sustainability.
This isn't simply a campaign to raise money for a building. It's an invitation to help create a place where people can begin rebuilding their lives, finding community, and discovering hope.
You can help—even if you can't give. One of the most valuable things you can do is share this campaign. There are people who may be willing to help Jordan House who have never heard our story—and we'll never reach them through our existing circle alone.
Your friends know people we don't know. Your church knows churches we don't know. Your network reaches places ours never will.
Every time this page is shared, the story of Jordan House reaches one step beyond our immediate circle. Maybe someone will give, introduce us to a church, become a long-term partner, or share it with someone else.
If Jordan House means something to you, please share this page.Share it on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or wherever you connect with people. You don't have to ask anyone for money. Just share the story.
Be part of the story.“I know a missionary family building a community center for migrants and refugees in Bari, Italy. I thought you might be interested in what they're doing.”
You can pray. Give. Partner. Share.
Every contribution matters. Every connection matters. Every person who helps spread the word expands the circle of people who can become part of what God is doing in Bari.
Help us build a place where people are welcomed, relationships are built, and hope begins again.
Jordan HouseRestoring dreams. Redeeming lives. Rebuilding futures.
Hope starts here.
