Reach Colombia

We are Assemblies of God missionaries going to Medellin, Colombia to reach young adults and university students. We have been serving as missionaries in the Dominican Republic for the last ten years but now God is sending us to Colombia. We will partner with already existing ministries, local churches, as well as launch new university ministries on new campuses to evangelize, disciple, and train up leaders. We believe that reaching young people will ultimately lead us to plant a church.

Why are we going?

Even though it’s been three decades since the largest drug cartel in the world at that time was dismantled in Medellin, this city has the largest drug consumption in the nation with 16 percent of its population using drugs. There is an urgency to reach young people with the love of Christ. We desire to share Jesus, disciple students, and raise up a church, but we can’t do it alone.

We are needing to raise $60,000 by the end of December to help us begin this mission in January. These funds will cover our missionary cross-cultural training, our move and initial establishment in Colombia, and the resources needed to begin ministry and serve effectively from the moment we arrive.

We have already raised $10,000 of our goal but are needing more financial partners to get us there. Someone has generously offered to match gifts from this campaign up to $600 to help us advance in this goal.

But behind every dollar is something much more important, people:

A student hearing the Gospel for the first time.

A person choosing to follow Jesus.

A new believer beginning their journey of discipleship.

A leader being equipped to reach others.

A transformed life that, over time, can impact many more lives.

Our vision is to evangelize, make disciples, develop leaders, and prepare the way to plant a church that will continue carrying the Gospel to the next generation. Will you partner with us in this vision?
