In a time filled with uncertainty, the children of Israel face the unimaginable—the constant sound of sirens echoing through their lives as they seek safety in bomb shelters. These children often have to go to the shelters 5-6 times per day, and some have to stay in the communal shelters all day because it is too dangerous to leave. As you can imagine, the emotional stress and anxiety these kids experience is immense. That is why we are partnering with a group in Israel to help provide these children with toys and games to make their time in the shelters a little less stressful.
We are raising funds to buy things like stuffed animals, puzzles, coloring books, and other toys and games for children to have in the shelters with them. The goal in providing these activities is to help ease the anxiety these children are experiencing, especially during the long periods they have to remain underground. Help us bring a little bit of light and joy into their lives during this stressful time.
