About HopeGives

HopeGives is a Christian crowdfunding platform created to empower missionaries, churches, and faith-based nonprofits around the world.

We exist for one reason: to get resources into the hands of those doing Kingdom work. Your mission is our mission. Whether you're a first-time missionary or a seasoned veteran, planting churches, feeding the hungry, translating Scripture, caring for widows, raising support for a mission trip, or rebuilding after a disaster, we’re here to help fund your calling.

HopeGives was started by a group of leaders who love missionaries and have lived lives committed to walking alongside missions, the local church, and nonprofits. Our founder, Dr. Troy H. Jones, grew up in a broken home and was deeply impacted by a missionary at the age of 13. Without that missionary’s influence, his life could have taken a very different path. Because of that handprint, at just 16 years old, he committed his life to raising funds for missionaries and walking alongside anyone called to do Kingdom work. Originally built for the Assemblies of God, HopeGives has quickly grown into a global Church effort—serving mission agencies, churches, and faith-based nonprofits around the world.

The original plan was to structure HopeGives as a nonprofit. But after realizing we couldn’t secure the financial resources needed to build a platform of this strength, we launched a for-profit company backed by Kingdom-minded investors who wanted to make a real difference in the Kingdom of God.

Unlike traditional platforms, HopeGives charges no platform fees. Instead, we operate on what we call a T.I.P.—Together Impacting People. It’s an optional gift from donors who want to keep the platform running strong and free for every mission and ministry.

Why We Started

We saw the burden missionaries and ministries were carrying: trying to fund Kingdom work while navigating outdated tools, long wait times, and high fees. It was slowing them down. So we built something better.

HopeGives is simple, fast, and built specifically with faith-filled causes in mind. We’ve partnered with leading churches, organizations, and networks to create a trusted, easy-to-use platform that’s grounded in generosity and driven by mission.
